Email problem in outlook2010

Hello 

I am using outlook2010 in windows7 laptop.

I create new email with an email address  xyz@gmail.com       This is not the real email address but an example.

then hit send email....This email goes to the    Outbox folder in outlook.

I have a look at this email by opening it , I see the email address changes to  ( shops opening ) , let us say . But if you hover over the email address you will see underneath xyz@gmail.com

From my little research, I have noticed some people calling this spoofing...

I used Total McAfee protection to scan the laptop many times over a week but finds nothing.

Can anybody suggest a solution please ?

Hello @AR1000

Please let us know the McAfee Anti Virus & Windows Version running on your Laptop. Please update the product and run a scan again.

Also, check if there are any pending Windows Updates and update them.

Hello

I am using windows7 home edition.....up to date.

Also McAfee Total Protection for antivirus protection...up to date.

laptop has been scanned several times but found nothing....
