Re: total protection 3 will not update reinstall

i receieved a message "error obtaining full permission for cleanup some products may not be fully removed"  is this common?

Hi Jerry,

After running MCPR did you get a prompt that said INCOMPLETE CLEANUP, if so it means the computer still has registry keys of McAfee.  Please follow the below steps;

Restart the computer and start tapping the F8 key ,from the windows advanced boot option select , safe mode with networking.( Ignore this step if you are using wireless connection)

which will help you in running MCPR successfully.
