Re: Uninstall Issue

So, if I decide to do the system restore, after my computer is restored to its pre-McAfee uninstall state, should I uninstall McAfee using just the MCPR tool or both the MCPR tool & the uninstall option in Programs & Features (even though there is a possibility that, once again, not all of the buttons/not the entire screen of the McAfee uninstaller that pops up when you click on Programs & Features will be displayed, as mentioned in my original post)?

Re: Uninstall Issue

Don't think it's really necessary to do a 'system restore'. Just uninstall the current antivirus software and possible other security software you have installed. Then get the SP2 and all other updates for Windows and possibly Office. After all is done reboot and redownload/reinstall whatever antivirus software youi want.
