Trouble Ejecting a USB Drive

Whenever I plug in a USB drive, McAfee asks if I want to scan the drive.  I usually click OK.  After I am done using the drive and try to Safely Eject it, Windows gives me a warning message:  “This device is currently in use.  Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and then try again”.

 

None of this works.  I have closed every open window and still get the same warning.  Very annoying.

 

How does one get McAfee to turn the USB drive loose after scanning so it can be ejected?Problem Ejecting.jpg
