Daily Verification of Subscription

Almost daily for the last few months a error message pops up that my pc is not fully protected. When i click the link the Security center pops up and in the right side column it says that I need to verify my subscription which it does and everything goes back to normal. Why is it doing this almost daily and always close to the noon hour? I have XP pro and have had the program installed for years, my account info is current and nothing has changed. I am on Comcast but I don't use the free version that comes with Comcast. I'm on automatic renewal.

On "automatic renewal..." What does that mean? Do you have version of McAfee's software that came with your computer Like Dell or anyone else? Or do you just have a subscription at the McAfee site?
Anyway, it's probably better to just do an uninstall and reinstall the software of where you got the software from. See this document for details: How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee consumer products using the McAfee Consumer Products ...
