Hello,
I just noticed in the device manager, the driver "McAfee mfeapfk" following message: This device is not present, not working properly or all the drivers are not installed. (code 24). I contacted McAfee support, the technician uninstall and reinstall Mcafee internet security, but my problem has reappeared, the technician told me if mcafee product no red alert, the problem comes from Windows and not of Mcafee. Is there a solution that you could bring me to correct this problem. Thank you for your help.

I did as follows: use "\" instead of "/", it causes the same problem on the driver "mfeavfk", No. 3 terminal?
Hi jipdee77,
Please confirm whether the driver under issue is "mfeavfk" and not "mfeapfk".!
Hi Chinthanai Selvan P,
For the third solution "1.Access to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / Current control unit / Services / mfeapfk" no problem.
"2. ImagePath Change to C 😕 Windows/System32/drivers/mfeapfk.sys". We must change this
"3 Change the value from 2 to 3.." We need to change this:
Hi jipdee77,
From your post above step 1 and step 2 is correct.
For step 3 change the start value from "2" to "3"
Hi, Chinthanai P. Selvan,

Hello there - I have this issue too with "This device is not present, not working properly or all the drivers are not installed. (code 24)". I have Win7 64 and I am a UK customer taking the McAfee suite via BT's Netprotect Plus.
I opened regedit and looked for this entry.
I dont have a entry line for "Load Arg" .
The path is per the examples above and looks correct .
When I try to modify the "Start" value to 3, regedit tells me I cant change it "error editing value".
What should I do?
Many thanks!!
