RE: Can't reinstall - you won't talk to me

Still no luck - will try upgrade to IE as soon as I get the chance. Can't even connect to the online support page - still getting same message.
Thanks

RE: HI..

Could you please let us know:
1. which web-address do you see in the address-bar when the error message appears?
2. Also, are you able to open other web-addresses, like for instance http://bbc.co.uk?

RE: HI..

Hi
the web site it is trying to access is http://uk.mcafee.com/root/myaccount.asp
and I seem to be able to acces most other web sites - but not any really important ones ie Microsoft automatic updates fails.
Thanks

RE: HI..

I suggest downloading, updating and then running Malwarebytes (link given earlier) and let it clean anything it finds as your machine sounds like it is riddled with malware.

RE: HI..

Sheri, Unless someone else has some brainwave, I hate to say that if it were me, I would format and reinstall Windows.
