problems after upgrade McAfee AntiVirus Plus

After updating My McAfee Anti Virus Plus product my computer has some problems. If I want to delete photographs (I am recently cleaning my photo archive) and also other documents (for instance word-documents), every second photograph (and second document)  I want to delete, takes a long time before it is really deleted (in my trash). It has something to do with updating version of McAfee AntiVirus Plus, because before updating I did not have this problem at all. It occurs if I view my pictures with Microsoft Picture Manager and also with google Picasa or if I delete the pictures from special folders (folders in my pictures). So, if I want to delete 4 pictures from one folder, the first picture is deleted very quickly, but the second goes slowly, the third is going fast into the trash and the fourth is again very slowly deleted.

I am hoping someone can help me with my problem, because otherwise it takes a long time to clean my photo archive (deleting not the best photographs) and have some more space for my hard drive C:

That shouldn't be happening.  Make sure those programmes have full permission in the Firewall (Web and Email Protection > Firewall > Internet Connection for Programs)

Try running the Virtual Technician to see if it can locate a problem and fix it for you.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
