problem installing mcafee internet security 2009

Hi,

I am using XP and I bought Internet security 2009 that can be installed on 3 computers. I download the program from the website after registrering my product. I was able to install it on my laptop but when I tried to install it on my other computer I had a lot of problem. I, first, removed norton 360 from my computer. After, I went on my account and download the program again. I was able to install it but when it's time to perform a scan or open the security center I have a blank page and can't scan. I used the tool on the website to correct problems but he found nothing. After that, I uninstalled Mcafee to reinstall it but I still have the same problem. I don't know what to do now to run it correctly. Could you help me?

Hi, I'm having issues installing my Internet Security 2009. McAfee CDsetup comes but it is blank. I don't know what is happening with it. It is a brand new CD.

are you using Internet Explorer 8?

for the meantime, try running this tool.

Look on the C: drive on the computer and see if there is a Sysprep folder. If found simple rename it to something else and then try to register

probably you are using IE8 beta
if yes

click start
select RUN
type
%windir%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe and hit enter.
say yes to the warning and continue.
reboot the machine when prompted and check the McAfee again.
