can't launch or access Viruscan

Hi I'm new on the forum.
I got security center 9 and it's running quite well except I can't reach viruscan nor launch any analysis at all. The web page can't be loaded.
Does anybody already face such a problem ?
Any help is welcome here cause it's a bit stressfull...
Thanks

Please explain what happens when you try to your Security Center?

re - can't launch or access Viruscan

When I select Analysis a information page shows up saying " this program cannot display the web page" and then suggest the most probable reasons :
"- you are not connected to internet
- the web site is facing some problems
- the address could be wrong "

then suggest some actions to take...
Is it possible to join a screen capture here ?
I could show you what is display...

Thanks for yout feedback

Screen captures have to be hosted externally at place like Photobucket or ImageShack. Then you post it using BBCODE like

Are you using Internet Explorer 8 beta? If so get rid of it as it isn't compatible with McAfee.

They are working on it.

Just a quick question. I'm using IE8 Beta and my SecurityCenter window is blank. I understand that IE8 is incompatible with McAfee at this time. Even though I can't see my SecurityCenter window, am I still protected by the firewall and antivirus? Thanks in advance.

One can only assume so as there is no way to tell. It's your call. Personally I would remove IE8.

Yes you'll be still protected. If you go to Services.

Click Start-> Run-> type Services.msc-> Check for all McAfee services. you should be able to see McAfee services started and running.
