WiFi scan possible false positive?

Hi everyone. I need some help here. I recently got home from picking up my wife from work, and upon arriving McAfee did it's automatic WiFi scan and I was alerted that my home network wasn't safe. I then proceeded to scan again and the warning vanished and alerted me that the scan turned up nothing. I then scanned again numerous times, including without my VPN on, and it turned up nothing.

What could be happening here? This is incredibly concerning, and I hope this is simply a glitch or false positive. If it isn't, what could have this been? And what should I do to make sure my network is safe? Thanks everyone.

Re: WiFi scan possible false positive?

Hi @Jake-Sosa992 ,

We regret for the inconvenience, this could be a some settings and location changes in the mobile network possibly detected as not safe, but later on multiple scan noting was detected so noting to worry at all , the wifi network was safe and secure .
