I had purchased (via download) 3-User Total Protection a while back, and have the suite installed on one of my computers. It includes Security Center 9.15, Virus Scan 13.15, Personal Firewall 10.15, etc., etc.
I just got a new notebook, and when I logged onto my McAfee account to download the suite for that computer, the new version of Total Protection was downloaded, including Security Center 10.0, Virus Scan 14.0, Firewall 11.0, etc., etc.
How do I upgrade the original that's on my first computer? Do I just re-download? Or what?
Thanks.
Ken
Hi,
The one that you have installed on the new notebook is the latest version of the security center. And the fresh installs would only be installed with the new interface .

So nothing short of a complete uninstall, cleanout, and reinstall, huh? Can't install on top of current config? Bummer.
But thanks.
Ken
I just did a complete un-install and re-install and still have Security Center 9.15. What does "clean-out" mean before the re-install?
Hi mike,
Could you please let us know how you reinstalled McAfee programs ? through a cd setup or from online account ?
Also let us know whether your McAfee products are provided through your ISP ?
