McAfee Internet Security v11.6, that is. Updated to the new version on November 14th.
The Traffic Monitor shows no traffic - overall or for the individual programs and services. The Traffic Use pie chart just shows "n/a".
Anyone else seeing this?
Edit : Same thing happened earlier this year (this thread) and no-one else was affected. Could be the same this time.
12.1 beta working fine sorry no 11.6 installs here any more
I have exactly the same problem on two intalls here. Both on XP Professional SP3. My McAfee versions are:
Security Center 11.6 build 11.6.435
Virus Scan 15.6; build 15.6.231
Personal Firewall: 12.6; build 12.6.186
Quick Clean: 11.6; build 11.6.164
This problem apparently stated about a month ago. That is the last entry
Peter put this as an agenda question for next Mondays call. Where there are 2 there will be more.
OK, thanks. I presume if there is feedback it will be posted here? This is a handy feature for exploring what programs are running and accessing your network. The fact that it seems totally inoperable causes one to wonder what else is not working in the firewall and virus protection programs. It does shake one confidence in the suite generally.
Yes we will report back or peter will
Since I upgraded to version 11.6 it also isn't working.
There is a fix in 12.1. To get it you need to uninstall Mcafee and reinstall it from the Au/Uk Ca or Us server as it is being slowly released.

Report the failure to support if they get enough complaints the may fix it is 11.6 as well.

It's not only Traffic Monitor which stopped working after the update to 11.6 : my Security History shows nothing at all (except for scans) since that update.
