Technical Support Response

I've been trying to contact Tech Support about problems with VPN when the new Bing is used. But when I try to Chat the chat box just sits after saying it is connected - a tech rep never starts a chat - just says it is waiting. Same from Edge and Chrome with VPN on or off.

Because I cancelled the chat (took too long) I received an email saying the SR 1-134391661 was incomplete and please reconnect within 48 hours. Tried several times, but the chat just sits there saying we are waiting for a tech rep.

At this stage I've given up.

I'm not sure I can expand any more beyond what is already in the Forum submissions.

Also, I spent 2 hours on a Tech Support chat yesterday. Are you able to access SR 1-134391661?

I have screenshots, but they are simply of a blank Bing screen (if VPN is on) and a successful Bing search screen (if VPN is off).

By the way, the Chat gave me a contact phone number for Tech Support, but it is a US number - is there a number for Australia??

Regarding the Technical support issue - before the Chat started I had tried twice to connect. Each time I had a screen saying the wait would be less than a minute. But each time I was still waiting after 1/2 an hour  -- the 2nd time i gave up and entered the Forum complaint. But just as I entered it the chat commenced. I don't have any screenshots of that.

I immediately went back to the Support entry to modify my complaint but couldn't because it was labelled as SPAM.

Sorry for the previous note: I thought your request was actually about my VPN issue, then realised it was about the Support complaint.

These are the difficulties of chats and forums. Much better to speak to a real person !!

But my apologies for the confusion.

I guess it has to to do with the time and day, I checked in at 4:28 pm( holiday) and received response at 4:30. Yet last Friday I could not access at all. I waited and waiated.
