Shut down if no problems found

Jump to solution

WHY has the option to run a scan and have the program shut down after (if nothing is found) been removed????? Of all the options to get rid of, WHY that one?????

Now I have to run a quick scan when I shut down and watch it finish before shutting down MANUALLY!

THAT is not the least convenient and it's annoying.

Please bring the shut down option back.

Agreed will pass this comment on. Ok passed up to McAfee manager who can decide on this.

Wonder why it has been left out strange was a widely used feature by me as well..

@j3nnee

McAfee is aware of this and will update the thread after checking with the dev team.

Today, June 17, McAfee updated to 16.0 R19 on my Inspiron 15-7569.  The shutdown option is there.

Yeah all they did to get it back was revert to the old GUI. i assume new 1 with this option included will come in August.
