Scheduled scan and exclusions

This may sound like a stupid question but, I noted that as a default when I first went to set up my scans the time was set at 4 AM.  So my question is: can the scan actually run with the computer off or does it just wait, if the computer is off at scan time, and start next time I log in?  Thanks!

Re: Scheduled scan and exclusions

No has to be on though unsure if it will wake up from a hibernate situation.I do not think it would though.

One thing to remember open General Settings and alerts (in the gear icon) and select General settings and make sure the Wait unit my PC is idle is deselected. that way the scan will start on time and not be affected by app activity.
