Full scan locks every time at the file ehuihlp.dll and I have to force shutdown my computer. How do I fix this?
The first thing you should try is to locate the file on you hard disk. Notice the location displayed on the scan screen when it freezes, OR just search for that file name on the Search option (start menu)
Once you´ve found the file right click and analize it.
See what type of file is. Is it a software file for a program, a system file. Looks like a help file of some software you got installed.
See what results the scan provide and return.
Good luck.
I'm sorry the file was ehuihlp.dll and it's a widows media application extension. I scanned it and comes back OK. But everytime I run full scan it freezes at that file. I'm really getting frustrated with this. A quick scan runs all the way through and says all i well.
It seems it relates to a Windows registry error pointing to that file.
First of all try to Update your windows to the latest updates.
Also, I would try running WIndows System Tools as the Defrag and Disk Cleanup.
Finally I would also try a Check Disk, via the comand on cmd: chkdsk /f /r c:
that will reboot and start scanning the disk for errors and auto-fixing them.
Good luck!
