This seems to be an issue with the 3rd party Add-ons on the web browser that you are using. You might try the Free ADWCleaner tool and check if it resolves the issue.

So the popup is the update reminder or the Lissie one bottom right or both? Not the normal McAfee popup we hear from others.
Is it only on this site?

One on the left side of the screen that says related searches, one along the bottom that says speed is not optimized, and one in the right hand corner for scrubbing bubbles. It is not only this site; I get it almost every where. I first saw it on this site and contacted an administrator who said that it wasn't normal and she hadn't had any other users report similar things.

This is not an issue with the McAfee software. This seems to be an issue with the Firefox. Please try to follow the below steps to terminate these pop-ups.
To access the pop-up blocker settings:
In the content panel:
Delish, I checked in that pane when this first started happening and it had already been checked. It's still checked now. Still getting the pop ups.
I followed a link for free adware cleaner that I found here on mcafee and now I'm getting this:
Is that supposed to happen?
Where on McAfee is this cleaner found? I would limit your scanners to those found here

I just tested it and no strange popups here. Perhaps you have a hijacker onboard. Best run Malwarebytes Free in Safe Mode, after updating it. If that fails to help then post a Hijackthis log as suggested lower down that page.
