Mcafee removal tool ?

I have been advised that I should obtain and run the McAfee program removal tool  MCPR.exe before trying a reinstall of Mcafee security suite.

I have tried search on McAfee website and get the video on how to uninstall and the MCPR tool, but can find link to download the program.

Can someone help me locate the program or give link to get it downloaded ?

Hi,
You could download the MCPR tool from  http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe and restart the computer when its done.
NOTE: This tool is not compatible with Microsoft Windows 98 or ME.

Hi - I went to the link for MCPR.exe but received a message that "it can't be downloaded securely".  Any help would be appreciated.

If your post fails to attract a mod try posting in a new thread you create as posting in a very old thread can be missed.You are downloading from McAfee?
