Mcafee: mc-fw-host.exe being detected by Windows as threat

Hi,

I am running mcafee total protection, today i am getting a detection from Windows Security for the executable: McAfee\WPS\1.8.256.1\mc-fw-host.exe, this is being detected as Win32/Wadhrama.C!rsm, can anyone help in what action should be done as windows offers to quarantine this . Also I am unable to even start Mcafee now once this shows up on windows security.

I encountered the same problem on May 30/2023 - see attached screen shot.

What is the recommended course of action?

I am having the same issue with my Moms PC. Eventully the computer freezes and have to reboot. Message came up   "MC-FW-HOST.exe - System Error - A New Guard page for the stack cannot be found".   Could you send me the solution to this as well?
