Hi Yoga, as I said in my earlier post, time's ok. When I was using v9 it started on the dot.
Regarding the scheduled scan not starting. Just got news that it is a known issue and they hope for a patch to fix it in April or May.
Thanks Peter, thought I was going mad! I'm still having a problem with MVT reporting no McAfee product installed, when I had a problem with my subscription last week:-
I reinstalled from the O2 cd which gave me V9 and MVT worked fine. But when I reinstalled V10, MVT
reports no McAfee even with the MVT update.
The no components installed issue is known and happens sometimes with 3rd party provided protection such as O2.

Please provide the following information of MSC10 and all other products installed. 'About' will have this information.
This information will help me resolve your issue
MVT does support MSC v10. I will check the supported products list. It should have MSC 10 support too.
Hi lakshmi, I'm using:-
McAfee Internet Security 2010 (Firewall & SiteAdvisor)
XP Pro SP3
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46
Avast Free Antivirus 5.0.507
As you can see, I'm not using McAfee Antivirus at the moment because of the Scheduled Scan "Magic Timer" issue.
I might add, MVT has never worked on my computer with McAfee 2010 (worked with 2009).
I think with this push for Windows 7 compatability, XP users are left behind.
Thanks for the attachments. I understood why MVT is not detecting the products.
It is because MVT support for affid 571 'O2' is not yet added. We are working on supporting the partners for this 2010 release phase wise.
Once the support is added, MVT will detect all the products.
I will discuss about this with the Partner Engineering team and find out their plan for this affid 571 'O2'

lakshmi, I just downloaded MVT 126.96.36.199 and it's working ok now.
