Thank you for your quick response, Ex_Brit!!!
I moved this to SecurityCenter. I should add that McAfee relies on IE for connections regardless of your default browser selection, so make sure that IE is up to date and set to its own default settings.
It doesn't have to be your default browser.
Hopefully my contact in support will be here soon to offer more advice.
Hi All,
This is to keep you informed McAfee is investigating this issue. We will keep you informed.. We appreciate your patience
Thank you, Bala
BTW my soiftware says no connection too....it must be because the website is down.
The website is restored.
Yep, my Security Center is updating again! My problem is solved. Hopefully the same holds true for all others previously afflicted by this issue?
Ex-Brit, Bala, team McAfee, thank you for your rapid help!!!!
When you first reported it I had no idea that my software couldn't reach the Internet either.....so it was merely a website problem. Glad it's solved. Good luck 😉
Glad to report I am experiencing no issues as well. Maybe it was the same case as yourself Ex_Brit, since I just signed on I was not aware of it. Having said that, I noticed my Anti-Spam did indeed update the Version Content @ 5:31 am.
My geographical location is on the East Coast-Mid Atlantic Region.
It appeared to be world-wide. Should be back soon if not already so for everyone.
