Installation

I try to install the McAfee Internet Security 2009 and this message pops up. "Action Cancelled. Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable." What on earth is going on? I am connected to the internet.

RE: Installation

Perhaps the download page and/or server is down temporarily. Try later.
I just tried McAfee's download page and reached it OK.

Okay...

I have tried off and on for over two hours, before I asked the question. I updated my internet browser, and now it just tells me that I need to retry. I have retried over and over. This is not the first time I have had problems with McAfee.

RE: Okay...

McAfee relies on Internet Explorer regardless of what browser you use as default so try this: Go to I.E. Tools/Internet Explorer/Advanced tab
Click Reset, OK any prompts and click Apply and OK.
Close and reopen I.E.
Go to I.E. Tools/Manage Add-ons and re-enable the add-ons.

See if it works now.
