McAfee Security Center 9.15 on my computer expires 9/23/2010 but I am getting messages that says Virus Scan will expire on 1/28/10.
When I try to renew Virus Scan, it tries to get me to renew Security Center. Virus Scan is included in Security Scan is it not? How
do I get the messages to stop without killing Virus Scan. I have already run Virtual Technican with no problems noted.

Hi bruce,
I just verified your subscription details and found that the mcafee products that came preinstalled with the computer is about to expire on 1.28.2010.
to resolve the issue, run the removal tool from http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe and restart the computer.
login to http://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp and download the current subscription (mcafee security center).

Hi Bruceleland,
Could you please specify whether those expiration messages are pop ups on the computer or through mails?
And how many computers do we have ?
Regards,
Dinesh K
Hi Dinz,
I get a warning pop-up when McAfee starts, but I was not able to get the text of the message.
If I invoke the McAfee Security Center icon, it displays message "Your subscription expires in 13 days. Renew". This is on the main panel.
After I bring up McAfee account, I get message
13 Days Left
Please be aware that Subscription 1 of your McAfee Anti-Spam provided via agreement with Dell will expire on 1/28/2010.
Until you renew this subscription or install another licensed copy, your computer may be vulnerable to Internet threats.
I have one computer.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Dinesh,
I followed your instructions to install and reinstall SecurityCenter and the problem is resolved. Virus Scan and the other components all have the same expiration date ( September, 2010).
Thanks,
Bruce
