Easy Network no longer installed with security centre

One of my computers hard a hard drive failure, and I had to reinstall windows along with everything else.

When I reinstalled McAfee Total security. I Noticed that there was a new McAfee interface, So I installed this on the other 2 computers.

What I didn't noticed was that it took off easy network,

Has this now been removed from the McAfee security software? As we found it very useful to swap file from computer to computer. Also it made the printer work properly when printing from on of the computers that was not directly connected to it. Is there some where I can down load it?

Easy Network has been discontinued.  Now you just get a limited Home Network Defense section (in Total Protection only) in the SecurityCenter which basically is an area simply to trust the network or not.

Thanks for the reply. I Thought that was the case. (only wish it wasn't).

May be a good reason to upgrade to win 7. For the home network they advertise on the TV.

I don't use a network myself but I know both Vista and Win 7 have pretty good network setup tools.

  • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
