Did tech support shine any light on this issue? We are seeing it a lot now as well
In these days I have not had time of calling again to the Technical Service. But I can affirm that after uninstalling the McAfee antivirus (I have suffered the problem with McAfee Viruscan Plus and McAfee Internet Security too), the BSODs disappeared of my PC.
I am aware that the problem should be in some incompatibility between the antivirus and some other program that I have installed. But I have uninstalled a dozen of programs, without finding the cause of the problem os BSODs. And I had all those installed programs, working well, before some upgrade of the antivirus that collapsed my system.
And the last GREAT UPGRADE of McAIS (version 12), days ago, has not solved the problem.
If several users are suffering this problem, I hope the McAfee Team offers a hotfix for all. I don't have time to reinstall all the operating system and all programs, one by one, to detect which the cause of the BSOD is.
