Problem with uninstalling McAfee Total Protection

Hello,

I tried to install new McAfee Total Protection license. I run installer, which requested rebooting machine to complete unistallation of previous version / copy. Following rebooting I repeatedly receive request for rebooting for completing uninstallation. WSSInstallHelper and MCPR does not resolve issue.

I removed all McAfee references from registry as well as McAfee files from the system with no success, too.

Which file / folder should be removed. How to to fix this issue and install new McAfee Total Protection?

Greetings from Mcafee.

Kindly follow the below steps to fix the issue

  • Open Run>> Type shell:common startup >>clic Ok >>delete McReboot file
  • Open Run>>Type %programdata% >> Delete  Mcafee installer temp files
  • Open Run>> Type Temp >> Delete the temp files
  • Open Run>> Type %temp% >> Delete the temp file
  • reboot the computer
  • Install Mcafee
