total protection
Hi bosnuk,
What year? Retail Version?
If Retail, modify it and remove the Firewall portion of the Total Protection and run it with just Anti-Virus installed and see if you have problems.
Also is Wireless available at home?
Hi Thecreator.
No idea, really. It just says 'total protection', that's it.
Bought it this year (downloaded) when renewing the license for my Security Center.
Will try to disable the firewall..
No wireless for the time being.
Many thanks for your time.

Hi bosnuk,
Go to Programs and Features and click on McAfee as if to uninstall it, but click on Change. You will be given the opportunity to modify the program, Repair the program and uninstall it.
Choose to modify it and uncheck or check Firewall. Reboot the computer when done. McAfee Virusscan should still be installed, but not the Firewall.
Remember you still have the Vista Firewall in place.
Run it for a few days to see what happens.
Thanks TheCreator.
Unfortunately that didn't help.

Hi bosnuk,
Contact D-Link Support. I am out of ideas. I know Routers, not Switches.
