allowing a program through the firewall

Hi, I'm new here so if I have posted this on the wrong place please redirect me.

I use Dreamweaver as a FTP c;lient. It seems to be blocked by the firewall, if I turn the firewall off it works perfectly. I have added the program to the program list under internet connections for programs, but it still no go.

Any sugestions?

Moved to Personal Firewall as an appropriate spot.

Could you try disabling NetGuard and see if that works. This will indicate if the problem is with NetGuard rather than the entire Firewall component.

Open McAfee Interface > PC Security > Firewall > Scroll down to "NetGuard" > Uncheck
