Thanks Tom
My system which is experiencing this problem has nothing to do with Dell. It is a home built PC with a Core i7 processor running Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit on an Intel motherboard with 12 GB of memory.
I have a Dell i-5 system, bought directly from them. It was running Windows 7 64-bit Home and I upgraded later to Pro. I have 24GB of memory installed.
Purchased directly from Dell: Dell XPS 8700, i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 8.1/64-bit Home, pre-installed with McAfee LiveSafe which expired then used McAfee removal tool to uninstall before installing my current product, Total Protection.
Ok predominately Dell Pcs but not fully will leave this now up to Selvan to check the logs
Exactly the same problem as xboxerj. problem started as around same time as described ,also a Dell user i-5 win 7 64 bit , Mcafree Total Protection.
What isp are the 5 of you on?
xboxer is TWC
I'm on TWC also.
Not on TWC, I'm on Cox. There is no issue with the internet connection not working other then the PC with McAfee firewall.
