For the past little while i've been playing a that I enjoy. So then I started to play multiplayer in this game. An hour or so later, mcafee blocked the ip address of the multiplayer server so now I can no longer play on it. In the security history I saw that it blocked the ip matched with the server. So is there anyway i'm able to unblock it? So that then I can continue to play.
Thanks!

You can override a blocked connection, but if it's blocked then it's blocked for a reason. Go ahead and play your game, but it's At Your Own Risk. Don't complain afterwards if that server then downloads something more than you were expecting.
McAfee HelpAllow or block Internet connections
You can change your settings to allow or block Internet connections for your programs.
Task
- Open the Firewall settings page.
- On the Home Page, click Web and Email Protection.
- Click Firewall.
- Click Net Guard.
- Select the IP address that you want to edit, and click Edit.
- Do one of the following:
- To block this connection, select Block this connection for all programs (Recommended).
- To allow this connection, select Allow this connection for all programs.
- Click Apply.

Thank you for the response. Although I'm not sure if my netguard is working as seen down bellow, because the blocked ip's don't seem to be showing up there.

Okay, there are two types of block. NetGuard works by picking up alerts for compromised servers and prevents you from connecting to them. That's what I thought you meant. Overriding one of those without investigating to see why the block was introduced would be, well, unwise. The other sort of block is where a server somewhere tries to establish a connection to your PC, often through little-used ports. Even reputable companies have their programs try to make multiple connections, often to speed up page downloads. If you look up the IP address and you trust it you can allow it to make those extra connections by opening the Firewall / My Network Connections section and adding a rule for one address or a range of addresses. It's helpful to comment who you're allowing and/or why in case you need to look it up later.
