I haven't anything running in the background, except the usual kinda stuff ... also nothing (new) running that hasn't been there for at least the last year or so.
No problems with Site Advisor running, only Netguard appears to cause the problem, and as I've mentioned earlier, not on every machine !!!!
Well it was just a thought. I know they are working on it so time will tell as they say.
Hello All,
This is an update on the progress of the patch for this issue. I spoke to the dev team on Friday. The fix is still with QA testing is still progress, so far all is positive.
I made inquires about the release date for next update. I did get responses, unfortunately this is still being planned, nothing new to report here. The current guesstimate of late Q1 is all we have at this time.
Once again I will post an update in a couple of weeks with a status update.
Thanks for the update. Are there any known workaround for this? How about whitelisting youtube stream at netguard or completey disabling it?
Hello Flogger,
Yes there is a work around. Simply turn off Net Guard. This doesn't impact your security. The firewall isn't impacted by disabling Net Guard.
Steps to turn off Net Guard
White listing the domain is a good idea, unfortunately if wouldn't resolve this issue.

i have four all using McAfee, wish i had found this forum a week ago!,
still I turned of net guard but still had issues,
but then i found SiteAdvisor3.41.122.1
In Extensions in Options on google,
turned this off and Found the youtube videos worked again,
I'm certain it isn't McAfee alone!
but other Extensions in browers adding there 2cent also,
So would suggest turning net guard
and turning of things like Site advisor in browers too.

Hi Peacekeeper,
Is Siteadvisor out of Beta? In other words, the same version of Siteadvisor 3.4.1.193 is running with Beta 5 and Beta 6, so my way of thinking is that the Retail Version is the same as well?
That is a good question will check
