Firewall Blocks Teamviewer after Teamviewer upgrade

Have McAfee Internet Security version  11.0.678.  on Win7 Home Premium PC

Recently did an upgrade to Teamviewer Remote control application.

McAffee firewall was running at the time of the Teamviewer upgrade

McAffee Firewall now blocks Teamviewer access to internet,  where it worked fine before.

If I disable the firewall,  Teamviewer begins working

Restarting the Firewall does not interfer,  UNTIL I reboot PC,  where problem returns

.

I can find nothing in McAffee options and settings that relates to Teamview by name,  or the ports needed by Teamviewer.

Have done exact same upgrade process on several other Win 7 PCs,  running Win 7 Pro.   No problems at all.

Am at a total loss as how to fix this.

Re: Firewall Blocks Teamviewer after Teamviewer upgrade

Hello,

I have Team Viewer14 installed on my Windows 10 lapop using McAfee Total Protection. I have added TeamViewer in the Internet Connection for Programs area in the Firewall menu of McAfee with the setting to allow incoming and outgoing connections. I have also added TeamViewer with port 5938 in the Ports and System Services section of the firewall. With all of these changes TeamViewer can not receive remote control or take remote control of another computer.

TIA!
