Filezilla server isnt working

Jump to solution

Hi

I have searched the forum and found many people in the past with this issue. I have tried the fixes, but still cant connect to filezilla.

I am running windows 10 pro with FileZilla server version 0.9.60 beta. And running McAfee LiveSafe 17.2 build 17.2.124.

If I disable the firewall in McAfee I can connect to the ftp server  no problem (tried from another location), and can do transfers as expected. If I enable the firewall I cant connect, so I know my router is working fine and must be a setting in McAfee.  I have opened ports 20-21, and 6500-6550 (also set in FileZilla). I have even tried disabling Net Guard as mentioned somewhere, but no luck. Anyone help?

Regards

Neil

Hi Siva

Thanks for that.  What I was doing wrong is not selecting "All PCs" under open ports. There isnt any need to open port 443 and 80 (web server port) as my ftp app dont use these

Neil
