Does antivirus disable windows firewall rules?

Initially we do not have any antivirus in computer .Suppose we set a new rule in windows firewall and the new rule is applied to that computer . Now if we install antivirus it will disable windows firewall .Does antivirus deletes the new rule created in windows or will it be disabled ? Is the new rule set in windows firewall available in the antivirus firewall?
