Hi markg2001,
Did we use any other security program from att in the past ?
Can you provide the error message displayed under the Fix button so that I could provide you solution accordingly.
Thanks,
Dinesh K
At one time i was useing window firewall and McAfee firewall at the same time. But now i have windows firewall turn off. When i click fix, It tells me one or more problems require your response. Highlighted in blue it tells me to verify your subscirption now. I will click where its highlighte in blue. In the lower left corner of my compurter screen, It says verification complete.I click ok, Nothing happens.
Hi markg2001,
Do you get constant anonymous pop ups while browsing through the internet ?
Was your computer infected by a virus previously?

Dinesh K

I spoke to McAfee technical support. They told me this issue is often due to a corrupt install. They sent me a file that totally deleted my old install and did a clean re-install. The verify subscription problem has gone away.
I am running Windows 7 and about 2 weeks a go my McAfee said I'm not completely protected. So I checked it out and it needed me to verify my subscription, its not due till end of 2010. I clicked it and it said my subscription has been verified but it still says "Your computer is not protected". I ran the virtual technician and it says I have no problem. Please help. Session ID: 24302840
Thanks

I ran the tool and it is registered to my current email. I had older version of McAfee but I uninstalled it before installing the new version. I installed it via the web.
