I already stated in a very early post, Technical Support are available through the link under Useful Links at the top of this page, but they are closed at the weekend in Germany, sorry.
See if the link in my previous post helps you.

At this moment ...
Kad Network
Status: Firewalled
But yesterday the status was "open" ....
But ... I'm not under deadline pressure ... although McAfee Firewall is not easy to understand ... unlike other firewalls ...http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/english-german/pressure.html
Well in that thread they are talking about something else but this part may help you:
In the firewall settings find ports and system services.
when you add a new line for emule it does not seem to work somehow, BUT, when you scroll you see one service that is premade and tagged already, its the line for Universal plug and play.
When click edit and then add the tcp and upd numbers given in your emule, you will be online
On Monday if you need them, Technical Support can actually link up with the computer and try to fix it for you.
I don't use DHCP ... I use static IP for my Laptop ... that's why I can not use UPnP ... that "trick" in the thread has something to do with UPnP.
Oh well, it was just a thought, sorry it didn't help.
You mentioned the Windows-7's Firewall .. that is the firewall of Microsoft.
I don't need it because McAfee "forces" me to use McAfee's firewall ..
So it's a question how to configure McAfee's firewall and not Microsoft's firewall ...
It's confusing ... isn't it? For me .. it is.
OK never mind that then. I just thought it might offer ideas for similar settings in McAfee.
Hello hlk123,
I understand what you are trying to do. This should not be that hard. I thought that we had an FAQ for port create. I will check this later
eMule has steps on their web page.
http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/help.cgi?l=1&rm=show_topic&topic_id=122
You will need to create a new rule under Ports and System services.
Steps to access Ports and System Services
Right click the M icon in the tool tray
Click on "Web and Email Protection"
Click on Firewall:On Drawer
scroll down the list to Ports and System Services
Click Add
Creating a rule for eMule
Enter a name in the "System Service Name:" field, lets call it eMule
Enter a description if you wish
Enter the TCP port in the Local TCP/IP Ports, in your case it is 7012
Enter the UDP port in the Local UPDA Ports, in your case it is 7012
Set the Open ports to: All PC's
Click Save
That should be it. There is one caveat. According to the eMule web site the port number changes to a random high port.
You will need to confirm which port number the application has selected.
The rule is basically saying please allow traffic for all computer (both local and public) on TCP and UDP port 7012.
You must select All PC's to allow public systems access to your computer. Further your router must forward public traffic to your PC using a port forward or virtual DMZ rule.
Let me know if this helped
