Uninstallation of safe family app from laptop

Hi, I have installed safe family app in my son's lWindows10 based laptop but it gives some problem while opening and downloading few websites and so I would like to uninstall this app. But while trying to uninstall that app. I get message NSIS error with a message "Error launching installer". Please help me to uninstall this safe family app.

i found this service doc;. have tried the steps as described ? don''t forget to have administrator permissions in windows.

the message you are seeing means the following;

 

The message NSIS error – Error launching installer means that the installer has failed the self-check because it has been modified from its original form. If the installation continues, the software will be broken and won’t function properly. To prevent this, the installer prevents itself from continuing.

googling i found a posting in the windows community from a while back;

Error message: "Error Launching Installer" how do I fix - Microsoft Community

i can imagine that this is all a bit difficult and perhaps it is best to contact live support from mcafee during working days for help;

  • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
