Safe Family wont open

Hi

I see that this has been answered already, but for some reason the answer was not made publicly available so here goes and apologies for repeating the question again.

 

I have installed Safe Family on all the several windows devices (Win10 and Win11), but regardless of device, it simply does not open when I click the icon.

I am using an administrator account and even right click and run as admin does not open the app.

 

Where am I going wrong?

We regret for the inconvenience!

Kindly try to update the application and It should fix the issue. If issue persist, reinstall safe family with the latest version. Kindly refer the below article for configuring Safe Family rules.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. 

1) McAfee Total Protection is installed 

2) The recently Safe Family instalation Pack was downloaded directly from McAfee webpage.  

3) Installation started and completed succesfully

4) The Shortcut was created but nothing happens when try to execute it.

5) Safe Family reinstalled, but the problems persists.

6) Safe Family and McAfee Total Protection totally uninstalled 

7) Tried to install only Safe family but it failed

😎 McAfee Total Protection installed again 

9) Safe Family installed after item 8.

10) Nothing changed and the problem with Safe family persists.

Hi, I'm using Win11 and have also issues.

What i noticed, on same PC with Admin Account it's running.
When I triy this on same PC with standard account it's not running.

My Childs account is standard and there it is were i need it but it's not running.

Someone else has the same expirience?

And what could be done to fix it.
Before i used another Software from another Vendor with no issues on Standard Account.

So please help.
