Parental control query

Firstly, I tried to get chat/email support from McA but application screen would not accept my phone number (is there a method to their madness?) . It is a perfectly acceptable phone number and there is no way I could figure out to make it acceptable so I am trying this instead.

When the protection software was downloaded it included parental controls.  I am all for parental controls. In others.  My children are middle aged and don't use my computer anyway. I was not asked if I wanted it and I cannot see how to disable it. The only reason I want it gone is that, perhaps, it is preventing access to a game that is downloaded on my computer.  (I own the game, if it matters)  I have disabled all the protection and reinstalled the game and still get a pane that says :Access Violation.  The game company (Big Fish) suggested it might be the virus protection preventing the game being played.  Not so. Neither any of the other protection items other than Parental Control which I cannot disable.

Any suggestions?

Try to enter the phone number in this format 123-456-7890  as suggested by Ex_brit in another post,

And regarding the parental control , if you need to uninstall it, Click start – control panel and click security center , and uninstall , In the next dialog box that comes up , select parental controls alone and uncheck all the others to remove it.
try to access the game and report back if you have any issues, (If possible try to attach a picture of the same)
