Can't launch Parental Control ... error:
Couldn't load script:misp:// ... MPSJsRes.dll::ParentalControlsSettings.js
If I have to reinstall, how do I export all settings in TotalProtection.. I have massive Firewall rules..?
/Mikael
To clarify I have run MVT which fixed two registry entries and rebooted after.. no change still can't launch Parental Control..
Making my kids hating McAfee since it blocks steam.com and I can't change it!

I don't use Parental Controls personally but do know that settings in the SecurityCenter generally can't ba backed up.
Have you been using any registry cleaners/optimzers lately as that may be the cause and usually there is a restore button.
The best way to sort the problem out would be to uninstall via Control Panel > Programs then run the MCPR cleanup tool losted under Useful Links at the top of this page, reboot and reinstall from your online account.
However, first why not try Technical Suppoirt? It's free via phone or online chat and also linked under Useful Links at the top of the page. Just use your country's page in the drop-down menu at the top right. I believe however it's only open Monday to Friday.
I've experienced the exact same symptoms, new this weekend. Windows 7 Home 64bit, AntiVirusPlus, Security Center v11.6, Virus Scan v15.6, Personal Firewall v12.6
MVT found (and corrected) two registry entries and report DAT file was out of date (but it wasn't per web site). Got this error when trying to access firewall settings.
I tried reinstalling McAfee but the installer fails.
A system restore got McAfee working again but, I can't edit firewall settings.

When I tried "browserpathfix" provided by mcafee community somewhere else and RESTARTED THE PC..............ALL PROBLEMS WERE SOLVED.

@Muthumol: I tried the browserpathfix last night and it didn't solve my particular problem. Glad you're fixed.
OK, good luck 😉
uninstall/reinstall --- all good now. Hopefully McAfee will QC updates better going forward but, I know, everyone makes mistakes.
Glad you look on it that way, thanks and good luck 😉
