Thank You !
Exact same issue here, fails at least once a week, usually after switching between Windows accounts, even after uninstall/reinstall. Please fix before I give up on McAfee.
Please contact Technical Support directly. They may have a fix.
It may be worth mentioning that I have had this problem with frequency when using Google Chrome. But when I've more recently avoided that, and have been using either FireFox or Edge, I have not been encountering the problem.
Thank you for that Input.
Since about two weeks I have the same problem. At let once a day my browser (chrome) freezes or I can't link to email content from outlook. Sometimes this lasts a few minutes but today it got worse and is now even taking a half hour already.
Try to ping a website in a cmd prompt window but get general failure as result.
Starting Livesafe gives no result. Only rebooting computer works.
Any suggestions?

There is a fix in the works soon but not sure exactly when it will be released.
In the meanwhile do the following (assuming Windows 7, 8/8.1 or 10 being used)
Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator
Open the McAfee interface by double-clicking the desktop taskbar icon (by the clock), or the desktop shortcut or listing in Programs, and click Navigation (upper right side)
Click General Settings and Alerts
Click Access Protection to expand
Turn Access Protection off and click Apply (keep this UI open and minimized to your taskbar for the time being)
Press the Windows key + R
In the Run box type services.msc and hit Enter.
In the resultant Services table locate ClientAnalyticsService
Stop this (may take a few moments to stop)
Double-click the item to open Properties and alter the Startup type to Disabled
Click Apply and OK
Bring up the McAfee interface again and change Access Protection to On, click Apply and then close everything.
Reboot. (i.e do a complete power down and up).
That should cure it.
Just implemented this, let's see if it helps. Thanks a lot.
