Shredding files on ssd

Help needed, please.

So what function do shredding a file instead of just deleting it have on an SSD? From what i have read here and there, its none.

So i shredded a couple folders some months ago hoping they could not be recovered. The laptop was used by me every day until recently, i no longer have the laptop and im afraid the files i thought i deleted can be recovered. How likely is it that they can be?

Re: Shredding files on ssd

I haven't heard anything that differentiates files on a regular HDD and those on an SSD.  It would be useful for you to publish this source of your information.

I think perhaps you should call Technical Support and ask them:  Contact Technical Support
