ACTIVATION OF MCAFEE

Hi,

I bought Mc Afee and not able to activate it. A message says the product key you entered is already registered to an existing account. Log in using the same account information. i dont remember the username and password used to activate it. is there any way to retireve it?

Hi there,

Please follow these below information so as to get you programs activated ;

First we need to find out the email address to which this software is associated ;

Step 1:

Open security center
Click on Navigation > then click on Subscription  -- Now you have got the email address

Step 2 :

Login to http://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp

Since you do not have the password – use the forgot my password option and get your password obtained .

Step 3:

Right click on the M icon on the system tray

Click on Activate/Register and follow the steps

Use the obtained credentials for registration .
