Since renewing my account on April 11th all texts to 2 of my mobile phones are unreadable code. This is an example of 2 texts sent to my phone.

Both phones are samsung and both started to get unreadable text after I renewed my contract. Previous text messages where readable.
example .... Thanks for choosing McAfee Total Protection. Download it now at http://mcaf.ee/2dkc . You may need this code during activation: F6UDDE (links and code activation changed)
I have reported it and am awaiting a call back but thought it may be ok to post some examples on here.
Cheers John
As you have already contacted support, that would have been my best suggestion as they are best equipped to solve this.
Those make me wonder if there's a language setting not agreeing somewhere.
Thank you. I thought that, all other texts are correct on my phone. so maybe they are sending their text in another countries language ? I cannot see any language settings in my McAfee account settings.
Thank you.
I was getting this myself but from 1 phone number as incoming texts only. They stopped after a day or two. Support best and if no help ask for an escalation.
I see a Moderator had the same issue so it looks like it's a temporary one.
There are Country/Language setting on most McAfee support pages:
Yes I asked the techs about it and they were to ask the mobile manager but I did not get a reply. It went away within days but as I said it was only incoming from 1 number. I will reask.
The Mcafee message is expected strange the garbled messages came after it.
Are the texts from the same or different numbers and do you recognize any of them?
the texts are from 447537415719 same number as last years text that i can read. these new texts started to go unreadable after i repaid my fees for this year. they are welcome texts i think. i have 9 ntexts sent to me in 10 days, all unreadable code like texts as above. My account country is set to UK English. If this is only for admin use this phone number of Mcafees thats fine, but if it also warns me of things then its not fine.
Yes I reread mine and they happened after I changed some mobile account settings so I agree probably Mcafee ones. I have asked the tech re this in our phone hookup tomorrow.. I am sure this will stop soon if not already

Been on with McAfee support today and they confirmed this is sending SMS to them. McAfee Mobile Security use by default the data connection of the device ( Wifi / GPRS ) to communicate with the McAfee servers. In instances where the device does not have data connectivity, the MMS application on the device will use the SMS to respond and communicate to the server to ensure the device is protected. When you change your SIM card, the SIM is not on the SafeSIMList and is new. The device sends SMS to the SMS gateway (which happens to be in Singapore) to update the server, even if the device has data connect
