Locate my device not working on mcafeemobilesecurity website

I cannot get the Locate My Device feature to work when on the mcafeemobilesecurity website.

 

When I log in to this site it shows on the map the location of my device two years ago, and if I click "locate" it times out.

 

However if I visit the same website _from the device itself_ it shows the current location.  That's no use at all if I've lost the phone!

So I rang customer support, who got me to try it with three different browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome) and all behaved the same way.

Only after a while he admitted that he had just tried to locate his own device with the mcafeemobilesecurity  website and it didn't work either!

He directed me to home.mcafee.com and it did show the correct location.

 

However, if you Google Mcafee find my phone it goes to the mcafeemobilesecurity website, and DOES NOT WORK.

 

Does anyone else have this problem and when are Mcafee going to fix it?

Additionally, sometimes to attempt to login results in the "Browser session cookies turned off", when they are NOT turned off, so I can't get in. Really considering this is a service I'm paying for it's atrocious that the default locate my device website only works for the phone, which is absolutely useless if you have lost the phone.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
  • While McAfee Identity Monitoring Service provides you tools and resources to protect yourself from identity theft, no identity can be completely secure.
