Introducing two factor authenticator (2FA)

Jump to solution

Mcafee Security users can track their iPhone/Android phone location after login in their account. Since it only requires password to login in Mcafee account, do you consider introducing 2FA function such as YubiKey or Google Authenticator to enhance our account security?

That sounds like a good idea. Or we have to set complex passwords for our account.

Complex password is not useful when the mobile network is compromised or there is default in your mobile operating system or problematic app. They could know what you do even though you use strong password and change regularly. 2FA especially the hard key like YubiKey can stop hacker to access your account easily.

They just want your money, and they don't care about YOU!

Their 2FA system is down for months and all they tell you is "once resolved our customer service will contact you."

So I would suggest that you can change to other antivirus service provider OR DO NOT ACTIVEATE 2FA IN YOUR ACCOUNT!
