I just installed McAfee Live Safe on my Smartphone with Android 6.0. If I want to activate McAfee Security I´m asked for a pin. I type in the PIN i recently defined during the installation, but Security says that this is not the correct PIN. Am I using the wrong PIN?

Okay, I solved it on my own. If you will activate McAfee Security and have defined a pin to unlock your phone, McAfee Security asks you for that pin and not for the pin defined during the installation process. For me this was not obvious and should be reviewed for one of the next updates. Usuability means that an user is able to understand what he has to do.

I have now uninstalled McAfee on my smartphone. And I used the pin I knew, I couldn´t activate security but I could uninstall McAfee. I´m a little bit confused.
The hints didn´t helped. But thanks for your response.

I apologize for not being able help you. I will be the first to admit, (Mobile Security) is not one of my 'Stronger Suits' if you will. Hopefully one of my Colleague's will pick up this thread, whom do indeed use Mobile Protection.
