When I tapped the report link to check my history last week with Safe Connect set to automatically activate when on a wireless network, the report said I hadn’t been connected to a wireless network for the last 24 hours. The device in question only has wifi, no cellular sim card, so the only connectivity it should have is wifi. I had been using the device regularly and it was on a wifi net.
Since the app wasnt automatically activating, I set it to manual and tried to remember to manually activate it. I noticed the protection was NOT staying active so I had to stop what I was doing and check regularly to ensure the SC was active.
Any suggestions? SC ver was 2.4. IOS 12.1.1
Make sure a firewall app or other VPN app isn't interfering with your McAfee VPN. If you have another security product or VPN installed, uninstall it or temporarily disable it. Try connecting to the VPN on a different network.
