Re: Non-removable virus

Got exactly the same problem few days ago and the notification from McAfee still the same even for now.

Type: Non-removable file

Pathname: /preload/ vendor/app/ com.gamestore.apk

Created: 28 Aug 2017

Artemis!3b0f8f9c6163

The only option I got from McAfee is "Ignore threat" which I'm sceptical about.

My phone also a Lenovo phone, so after reading OP's post I expect maybe its just a false threat, maybe it's just a legit lenovo or Android's program that detected as virus by McAfee right after recent McAfee Update (Since it's created 28 Aug 2017 but just detected a few days ago) , but who knows...
So I just search and ended here to confirm if I just need to "Ignore threat" or do something else.

Re: Non-removable virus

My husband's phone has the same "non removable file" message when he does his McAfee scan.
I'm trying to follow the steps indicated but how do I send you the logs?  I'm on my computer and running the log on my his phone.
